Privacy Notice โ€” Facebook Lead Form

Last updated: October 19, 2026 ยท For visitors in the United States

1. Scope of this notice

This notice explains what personal information we collect through our Facebook lead form and the pages it links to, why we collect it, who we disclose it to, and the rights you have. It applies to everyone in the United States who uses this form. Sections 10 and 11 add the specific rules that apply to California and Texas residents.

If you are outside the United States, different rules may apply to you; contact us and we will point you to the notice that fits your situation.

2. Who we are

The data controller for this form is Quantlab.

Address: 3 Greenway Plaza, Suite 200, Houston, TX 77046, United States.

For any question about your personal information, contact service@trading-macd.com.

3. Information we collect

In the last twelve months we have collected the following categories of personal information through this form:

We do not ask for government identification numbers, bank or brokerage account numbers, precise geolocation, biometric data, health data, or the contents of your communications with third parties. We never ask for your trading platform login or password, and you should not send them to us.

4. Where the information comes from

Most of it comes directly from you when you fill in the form. Some of it arrives automatically from your browser or device, and some from the advertising platform that tells us a form was submitted, for example that a submission came from a particular campaign.

5. Why we collect it

We use the information for the following business purposes:

We do not use your information to make decisions that produce legal effects about you, and we do not build profiles for the purpose of inferring characteristics beyond the summary described in Section 3.

Additional commercial messages by email or WhatsApp are sent only if you have agreed to receive them, and every message includes a way to stop. Submitting the form does not, by itself, sign you up for advertising.

6. Disclosure, "sale," and "sharing"

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not disclose personal information to third parties so that they can market their own products to you.

Advertising measurement. Our pages include the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics tags. These tags send event data, together with cookie or device identifiers, to Meta and Google so that we can measure whether an advertisement led to a form submission. Under some state laws, disclosing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising counts as "sharing" or as "targeted advertising," even when no money changes hands. We treat these disclosures that way and describe how to stop them in Section 9.

Service providers. We disclose information to providers that process it on our behalf and under contract: the form and hosting provider, the database that stores submissions, and the email and messaging services we use to answer you. They may use it only to provide those services to us.

Meta and WhatsApp. The form is delivered through Meta, and if you choose to join our WhatsApp group, WhatsApp processes your number and profile information under its own terms and privacy policy. In a WhatsApp group, your number and some profile details may be visible to other participants.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information if the law requires it, if we need it to establish or defend a legal claim, or to protect someone's safety.

7. How long we keep it

Form submissions are kept for a limited period and then deleted or de-identified, unless we need them longer to meet a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, or enforce an agreement. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, as described in Section 9.

8. Security

Submissions are stored in a database that only authorized people can reach. Access to the management interface requires a password and is restricted to approved network addresses, and traffic to the site is encrypted with HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the amount of information we hold to what the request actually needs.

9. Your privacy rights

Wherever you live in the United States, you can ask us to:

To make any of these requests, email service@trading-macd.com. Use the subject line "Privacy Request" for access, correction, deletion, or a copy, and "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" to stop advertising-related disclosures. There is no form to fill in and no fee. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for written permission signed by you and will still confirm your identity with you directly.

We will confirm receipt within ten business days and answer within forty-five calendar days. If we need more time, we will tell you why and may extend the deadline once, by another forty-five days. To protect your information we may ask for a proportionate check that the request comes from you, for example by replying from the email address you used in the form. Opt-out requests are honored within fifteen business days.

If we refuse a request, we will explain why and tell you how to appeal by emailing the same address with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will answer an appeal within forty-five days. If the appeal is denied, we will tell you how to contact your state attorney general.

You can also reduce advertising-related disclosure yourself by blocking third-party cookies in your browser or by using the advertising settings offered by Meta and Google. Those tags are operated by those companies, so their own opt-out tools take effect across the sites that use them.

10. California residents

The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (the "CCPA"), applies to businesses that meet certain thresholds. Whether or not those thresholds apply to us, we extend the rights in Section 9 to California residents and describe them here in the terms the CCPA uses.

In the past twelve months we have collected the categories listed in Section 3: identifiers, commercial information, internet or network activity, and inferences. We collected them from you, from your device, and from the advertising platform that referred you. We use them for the business purposes in Section 5, and we disclose them to the service providers, advertising platforms, and messaging services described in Section 6.

Sale. We do not sell personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration.

Sharing. Disclosing identifiers and internet activity to Meta and Google for advertising measurement can be "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA. You can opt out as described in Section 9; we will honor the request within fifteen business days.

Sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you, so there is nothing for us to limit.

Minors. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under sixteen years of age.

Under California's "Shine the Light" law, we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. California residents may also contact the California Attorney General's office about privacy concerns: oag.ca.gov/privacy.

11. Texas residents

The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act applies to businesses that conduct business in Texas or provide products or services consumed by Texas residents, process or sell personal information, and are not exempt as a small business. If an exemption applies to us, we will tell you which one when you make a request, and what we can still do for you.

Texas residents have the rights listed in Section 9: to confirm whether we process your personal information and to access it, to correct inaccuracies, to delete, to obtain a portable copy, and to opt out of the sale of personal information, of targeted advertising, and of profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

We answer requests within forty-five days of receipt. If we need more time, we will tell you before the deadline and may extend it once, by another forty-five days. If we decline a request, we will explain why and give you a way to appeal by emailing service@trading-macd.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We answer appeals within forty-five days, and if we deny the appeal we will give you the contact details for the Texas Attorney General so you can submit a complaint. texasattorneygeneral.gov

We ask for your consent before processing sensitive data, and we do not collect it through this form. You can opt out of sale, targeted advertising, and profiling at any time using the email route described above.

12. Residents of other states

Several other states have comprehensive privacy laws, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, and New Jersey. If you live in one of them, we extend the rights described in Section 9 to you on the same terms, including the appeal route and the deadlines stated there.

13. Children

This form is intended for adults. It is not directed to anyone under eighteen, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, write to us and we will delete it.

14. Where your information is processed

We are based in the United States and our systems are hosted there; our service providers may process information in the United States or elsewhere. Where information moves between countries, we rely on the safeguards required by applicable law. Meta and WhatsApp process information under their own policies, which may involve transfers outside your state or country.

15. Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on this page before they take effect.

16. Contact

Questions, requests, or complaints about this notice: service@trading-macd.com. We answer privacy requests from the address above and will tell you if we need anything else to process yours.
